About the 22X-4 2.0 AC
G3 13mm Big-Bore Shock Performance
The 22X-4 2.0 AC comes equipped with larger G3 13mm big-bore shocks that deliver improved handling, consistency, and corner speed on today’s demanding tracks. Paired with 13mm springs and updated 3mm internals, these shocks provide smooth damping and excellent support over rough sections and high-grip surfaces. Optimized mounting locations and gullwing front arms help lower the center of gravity for enhanced stability. The result is predictable handling and increased confidence when pushing at race pace.
Adjustable Height Differentials & Large-Volume Gear Diffs
With adjustable differential heights at both the front and rear, racers can fine-tune drivetrain characteristics for various track conditions. The 19.2% larger-volume gear differentials improve durability and consistency during long mains. All-metal internal components come standard, offering a strong and reliable drivetrain platform built for high-performance racing.
Decoupled Slipper & Premium Aluminum Chassis
The decoupled slipper clutch system allows independent adjustment of front braking bias, reducing 4WD braking understeer and improving turn-in response. Under acceleration, full 4WD traction is restored for maximum forward drive. Supporting it all is a hard-anodized, 2mm machined 7075-T6 aluminum chassis that is lengthened for stability and precision milled for optimal flex characteristics on astro and carpet tracks.
