About the RC10T Classic
History
Debuting at the 1991 Florida Winter Championships, the RC10T quickly made its mark in RC history with Cliff Lett taking first place and Butch Kloebber securing second. This event marked the beginning of a new era for race-winning trucks. However, it was also the last time narrow front wheels and tires were used in professional racing, as they were deemed an unfair advantage and subsequently banned. The new rerelease of the RC10T features these original narrow tires, replicating the winning look from its historic debut.
Suspension and Transmission
What made this truck so dominant in its day, apart from the now-illegal front wheels, was its advanced engineering. The Stealth A.T.C. Transmission efficiently delivered power to the wheels, while the wide-track, fully adjustable independent suspension provided superior handling. This suspension was cushioned by long-travel fiberglass shock towers and gold anodized racing shocks, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride.
