About the RC10 Trail Truck
High-Clearance Portal Axles
This kit features upgraded portal axles that offer nearly an inch more ground clearance than standard straight axles, helpful for navigating rugged terrain. The axles are built with all-metal gears, durable ball bearings, and reinforced gearboxes secured with six screws to handle heavy torque loads. When paired with the Stealth® X transmission, users can achieve optimized underdrive setups for improved control and crawling ability.
Rugged Chassis and Suspension Design
The RC10 Trail Truck’s chassis includes a behind-the-axle (BTA) steering system and aluminum steering plates for improved approach angles and customization. The factory-integrated servo/servo winch mount adds strength and ideal weight distribution. Fluid-filled, anodized aluminum shocks help maintain the vehicle's stability, even on the most challenging trails, making the truck a capable and reliable crawler straight from assembly.
Realistic Styling and Premium Components
Inspired by the classic 1984 RC10 off-road buggy, this trail truck boasts a clear polycarbonate body with molded details and a tribute decal sheet. Functional accessories like roof racks and mirrors enhance realism. For traction and aesthetics, it comes equipped with officially licensed General Grabber™ X3 tires and Method 701 Trail Series beadlock wheels, ensuring both superior grip and authentic scale appearance.
