About the Gelande II
Transmission
The updated R3 single speed transmission comes with a tough cast metal case and updated wider gears to allow for more abuse along with a Delrin spur with slipper clutch. Also features a sturdy billet aluminum motor mount for durability. The G2 includes the Hammer Transfer Case. Packed with scale detail, the Hammer features a cast metal exterior and the same heavy duty 32P widened gears for durability.
Axles
The RC4WD Cast Yota2 axles are among the most scale-accurate on the market, featuring 8-degree round knuckles, removable differential covers, lowered mounting points, and a compact offset front pumpkin for a realistic look and improved performance. The G2’s driveshafts have been upgraded with steel universals and high-quality plastic shafts, offering excellent driveline angles and reliable durability on the trail.
Suspension
?The RC4WD Gelande II Truck Kit features a scale-accurate suspension system with a 3-link front setup, including a panhard bar, and a 4-link rear configuration. This design enhances off-road performance and stability. Additionally, the chassis-mounted servo is positioned out of sight, contributing to a more realistic appearance.
