The Kyosho Inferno NEO 4.0 Readyset 1/8 RTR Off-Road Nitro Buggy brings 1/8 scale Inferno-series performance to a pre-assembled Readyset package. The chassis comes with the KE21V nitro engine and components installed, while the completed body is shared with the electric Inferno NEO 4.0 VE and features an original color design. Its smooth-starting recoil-start engine and included pistol-grip transmitter make the buggy approachable for those just getting into 1/8 scale GP models, while the proven Inferno-based chassis provides a platform suited to experienced drivers as well.
About the Inferno NEO 4.0
Chassis & Suspension
The Inferno NEO 4.0 uses a shaft-driven 4WD system with front, center, and rear differentials for stable traction across low-grip surfaces. Double wishbone suspension with turnbuckle-style rods allows toe and camber adjustments, while big-bore oil-filled shocks are designed to handle the weight of the 1/8 scale chassis. Standard springs are selected for a range of surface conditions, with optional spring rates available for further setup adjustment. Universal swing shafts provide power transfer to the front wheels, and double-disc brakes provide strong braking performance.
KE21V Engine & Advanced Electronics
The pre-installed KE21V engine uses an easy-to-use recoil starter, providing smooth power delivery and the distinctive sound and acceleration associated with a GP model. Steering and throttle control are handled by water-resistant KS5072-09MW high-torque servos with metal internal gears for precise response during heavy-duty off-road driving. The Synchro KT-231P+ transmitter provides adjustable steering and throttle trim along with servo motion-angle adjustments, while the special receiver unit includes a fail-safe function for signal-loss protection. The receiver and battery holder are housed inside a dedicated radio box that helps protect the electronics from dirt and dust.
Wheels, Tires, & Body
The included KC Cross Tires are pre-mounted on scale-style spoke wheels and provide grip on both off-road and on-road surfaces, along with long tire life. The completed body is shared with the Inferno NEO 4.0 VE and features an original color scheme, with an aerodynamic design intended to provide smooth, stable handling. Together with the pre-assembled chassis, installed electronics, and completed body, the Readyset provides a straightforward package for getting the buggy onto the track or trail.
