The 173W is based on the successful EcoPower 173 servo platform, known for its reliable digital control and compact size. Upgraded All-Steel Geartrain
A standout upgrade over the original 173 servo is the 173W’s all-steel internal gears. This change dramatically increases gear strength and wear resistance, making the servo far more reliable under load — especially during demanding winching operations. EcoPower plans to roll this improvement into future 173 servos, but the 173W already includes this upgrade, ensuring enhanced durability right from the start.
Waterproof & High-Voltage Ready
Designed for real-world trail conditions, the WP173W is fully waterproof, allowing it to operate confidently in mud, rain, and stream crossings. It also supports high-voltage operation up to 8.4V, enabling increased torque and performance when paired with high-voltage-capable electronics.
