A high current connector designed for high-powered electric systems, rated for 150+ amps, such as Castle QS8 8mm Anti Spark, or QS10 10mm Anti Spark soldered to the battery leads.
Castle has tested and recommends the following batteries. - Although Cobra 5 is waterproof, it is not intended for operation while completely submerged in liquid.
- Always rinse the ESC and motor with clean water after exposure to corrosives or dirt.
- While the motor and controller may be waterproof, we suggest users confirm that the rest of their vehicle, including the batteries, servos, radio and chassis are also waterproof before exposing them to liquids of any kind.
- The cooling fan must be removed prior to driving in wet conditions. It is not waterproof.

| Tech Notes: |
- Routine maintenance is recommended after running in wet conditions.
- Monitor motor temperatures closely; overheating a motor will cause permanent damage to the magnets. Never exceed 200° F on the the motor or ESC.
- Do not use mounting screws that extend more than 5mm into the front of the motor. Using too long of a screw can result in damage to the motor's windings and will not be covered by the warranty.
